The Installation Process
A Typical Indoor Custom Build: Day by Day
Commercial builds take 3–5 days. Residential indoor builds typically 2–3 days. Outdoor installs 1–2 days.
Site Verification & Framing
Final measurements confirmed. 2×4 stud frame built inside the room. Electrical rough-in location confirmed with licensed electrician. Conduit run.
Insulation & Vapor Barrier
Mineral wool or fiberglass batt insulation installed in stud bays. Aluminum foil vapor barrier installed over all walls and ceiling. All seams and staple holes taped.
Cedar Installation & Benches
1×4 T&G cedar walls and ceiling installed over furring strips (maintaining required 10mm air gap). Custom multi-level cedar benches built and installed. Door hung.
Heater, Lighting & Ventilation
Heater mounted and secured. Stones loaded per manufacturer spec. Control panel installed outside door. Vapor-proof LED lighting installed. Intake and exhaust vents installed.
Electrical, Trim & Test
Licensed electrician completes final connections. Trim and mouldings fitted. Full heat cycle test run. Thermometer check. Client walkthrough and handover.

How We Install, Every Time
Manufacturer Specs Only
Every install follows HUUM and Harvia official specifications. No improvisation on safety clearances, insulation depth, or heater sizing.
Licensed Electricians Only
We coordinate with licensed electricians for all 240V work. We never allow unlicensed electrical work on any project.
Stainless Steel Throughout
Every fastener, hinge and fitting is stainless steel. Standard screws rust and stain cedar — we never use them.
Ventilation by the Manual
Supply and exhaust vents sized and positioned per manufacturer spec. Six air changes per hour minimum.
Foil Tape on Every Seam
Every seam, staple hole and penetration in the vapor barrier is foil-taped. Moisture intrusion is the most common cause of premature sauna failure.
Test Before Handover
We never collect final payment without running a complete heat cycle. If it doesn't reach temp, we don't leave.
