Common Questions
What room size do I need for an indoor sauna?
A minimum of 4×4 feet of finished interior space is workable for one or two people, but we recommend at least 6×8 for comfort. We'll assess your exact space on-site and design around it.
Does my house need a dedicated electrical circuit?
Yes — a 240V dedicated circuit is required. The exact amperage depends on the heater size: typically 40–70A. We coordinate with a licensed electrician and include this in your quote scope.
How long does installation take?
Most residential indoor saunas take 2–3 days to install once materials arrive. Commercial builds or larger rooms may take 4–5 days. Material lead time is 3–6 weeks from deposit.
Can you build inside a block or concrete room?
Yes — we build inside block rooms regularly. We float a 2×4 frame inside the block shell and follow the manufacturer's block-wall heater sizing formula to ensure correct heat output. This is more complex than stud-wall rooms but well within our scope.
Do I need planning permission?
Generally no permit is required for an interior sauna build in Florida if it's within existing square footage. Electrical work requires a licensed electrician and the relevant electrical permit. We advise on this per project.
